Kevin Kresse is a Little Rock artist who supports his family as a painter and sculptor. Kresse has won numerous awards, including a painting fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts and one from the Arkansas Arts Council. He has won several awards in the Arkansas Arts Center’s annual Delta competition for his paintings. Kresse has also been voted best artist by the readers of the Arkansas Times and the Little Rock Free Press. Kresse has been featured in segments produced by the local affiliates of ABC, CBS and PBS television, as well as the subject of articles in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, the Little Rock Free Press, the North Little Rock Times, the Arkansas Times and Active Years magazine. His large-scale public sculpture can be found in the healing garden at Baptist Health Center in Little Rock and at the Dee Brown library in Little Rock. His work is on the web at www.kevinkresse.com.
